During his first 3 years in San Diego, Drew Brees was subpar. Thus, when the 2004 NFL Draft came, the Chargers were in the market to draft a quarterback. The Chargers selected Eli Manning while the New York Giants selected Philip Rivers. Conversely, it would be Rivers who would go to the west coast and Manning would go to the Big Apple. Seemingly, the Drew Brees era in San Diego about to come to an end. However, Brees wound up turning his career around. Check out this video that explains what happened.

During the 90s, the Nebraska Cornhuskers dominated. Prior to this decade and early on in the 1990s, it seemed Nebraska would not be the powerhouse it would turn out to be; after multiple losses to Miami and Florida State in prominent bowl games. But with a change in recruiting tactics by Tom Osborne and a commitment from Tommie Frazier, the Nebraska Cornhuskers became the team of the ’90s in college football.
